Q: How long will my package take to arrive, after official release?

A: It depends on where you live. On average, based on previous experience, we have these guidelines:

UK (England, Wales, Scotland, N. Ireland): 2-4 working days
Europe: 10 - 12 working days
US: 10 - 14 working days

We will endeavour to get your package to you as soon as possible. In many cases, the game will arrive earlier than the guidelines given, and may also arrive later. We are dependant on both national, and international postage services. After completing your PayPal transaction, orders are processed automatically, and printed for our records. Your details WILL NOT be shared with any other companies, individuals or parties.

Q: Will I have a receipt for my order?

A: Upon completion of your order you will be sent an email from paypal. This sale receipt of your purchase will arrive at the email address you specified when ordering.

This email can be printed for your records, and contains your 'transaction ID'. Please use this ID when dealing with Shadow Tor Studios, as we will be able to locate your order much faster.

Please note: Those with email filtering systems, or those who blocked senders, may not receive their emails because of such systems. Emails will be sent both from Shadow Tor Studios and the PayPal system.

Q: How is Barrow Hill packaged and sent?

A: The game disk is contained inside a standard DVD box, with printed artwork and limited edition postcard (with clues! and game map). This package is then placed inside a padded envelope, and sent using the postal service requested. We hope that your game arrives in perfect condition, as all precautions are taken when handling.

A: The price paid for a full copy of Barrow Hill includes the game, promotional extras and delivery. For all consignments to be shipped outside of the UK, any customs duties, other local taxes, import duties or state taxes that may apply are your sole responsibility and are not payable by Shadow Tor Studios. Note that your local governing bodies may charge import duties on packages from Europe. Please refer to your local postal service for further information.

Q: Is Barrow Hill available on CD-Rom?

A: At present, Barrow Hill is presented on DVD-Rom. Please make sure you have a DVD-Rom drive before ordering.

Q: Does Barrow Hill contain any 'adult content'.

A: Barrow Hill does not contain content of a sexual nature and does not include any use of explicit imagery. Parents should be aware that Barrow DOES contain stylised images of death, and human destruction. We do describe the game as 'horror', but there is no blood or extreme gore. Younger children may find some of the more suspenseful scenes disturbing.

Q: Is Barrow Hill easy to control, and interact with. Mouse control?

A: We can say that Barrow Hill is entirely 'mouse drive' except for one instance where a password needs to be typed using your keyboard. So, that means you can explore, solve puzzles and save your progress using ONLY the mouse.

Q: Can I have a refund for a malfunctioning game?

A: Yes, of course, we want you to be able to play and love Barrow Hill. But, we must insist that you send the defective item back to us to check (including all packaging materials and associated items). A: At present, Barrow Hill is only available in English, when ordering directly from Shadow Tor Studios.

A: At present, only Shadow Tor Studios offers original & official sales of Barrow Hill. If you buy the game elsewhere, you should be aware that purchasing pirate copies is illegal. Those who support and perform piracy are liable for criminal prosecution. Piracy is a crime and damages the games industry.
